Lets just start HERE.....Its BIGGER than Kanye West vs Adidas and the GAP. It's about owning the rights to OUR style and culture that we created. Kanye once again is purposely and beautifully exposing the corporate fashion beast for what and "who" they really are! CULTURE VULTURES! Not going to lie, I myself was first thinking " Why do he even need to merge with these big corporate fashion beasts anyway? He can create his own fashion line and just sell it on his own platform and make more profit. HE is a BILLIONAIR, HE DONT NEED THEM?! NO! The real only way to really profit from business let alone fashion is to use OPM aka Other People Money. And in the case of the fashion industry, it's using Other Cultures Styles and the creator not profiting. So, the reality is until the day Kanye pull a Tyler Perry and build his own Black Owned factory.... He and all Black Owned fashion creators will continue to be stolen from.
